Frequently asked questions

What is this work exactly?

This is identity coaching. We work on understanding who you are, separate from your roles, your relationships and who society told you to be. It's structured, intentional, and goes deeper than most personal development work. It's not therapy. It's not life coaching focused on goals and productivity. It's foundational work. Because when you know who you are and what you actually value, your goals and decisions align naturally.

How is this different from therapy?

Therapy processes the past. This work work is about who you become next. The two can run alongside each other and many clients see a therapist as well. But if you've done therapy and still feel stuck, this is likely the missing piece. But both matter. Therapy helps you process what happened. This work helps you figure out who you are becoming.

A life change just happened - Is it too soon to reach out?

It depends. I'm not a medical professional and if you're in acute crisis, please reach out to someone who can support you there first.

Most of the women who come to me have moved through the initial shock. They are in a state where they're ready to ask the hard internal questions. If this is where you are, then it is not too soon.

Will you understand my experience even if it's not chronic illness or there is an age gap?

Yes. Identity loss doesn't discriminate by age or situation and neither does this work. I've navigated my own identity crisis through chronic illness and I know what it feels like to have everything disappear. Regardless of the age, the identity work is similar. What changes is the context and I'm here to understand yours specifically.

Am I ready for this?

If you're asking that question... you probably are. The women who aren't ready are not usually wondering if they're ready. The fact that you're reading this tells me you are ready. You don't need to have any answers, you just need to be willing to look.

What will I actually walk away with?

That depends on which path you choose.

The Compass Audit will help you gain clarity on where you are, why you feel the way you for and a few specific actionable steps.

The Solstice you help you gain a relationship with yourself, the ability to make decisions from who you actually are, and an anchored identity so that when life changes again (and it will) you don't lose yourself in it.

Is this worth the investment?

When your identity is built on external factors (roles, achievements, relationships, others expectations), it can be taken away. When it is, you're left searching. Make decisions that don't reflect who you are, and getting pulled in direction that don't fit. Coping and making to get by, quietly getting lost in a life that was never really for you.

Most women spend years trying to find their way through this alone. The cycle continues not from lack of effort but lack of a process built specifically for this. For you.

Without a sense of self, nothing else sticks. The therapy, the books, the pushing through, you've tried them. And something still feels off.

The women who do this work feel sturdy in who they are, they know when they're drifting, they make decisions that are aligned with who they actually are and not who they were told to me. They move forward with clarity and self-trust.

So yes, you are worth the investment.
